VIDEO: Adventures with Takoyaki

I found this candy pack at Mitsuwa market the other day. It's really weird.
It's made to look like a tray of takoyaki (panfried octopus balls), but is actually a gummy candy you make yourself. There's one glitch in this video. Can you find it?

I'm so weirded out by how that candy just gelled like that. Hmm. Glitch? Just you forgetting to cut off the side and putting the candy in first before removing it and adding it after the mix. But it was a great video. So cute!

hahah, bingo! The gummy candy (which was shaped like octopus) appeared and then disappeared. The anal side of me wanted to reshoot it, but oh well. =P

I tried a similar candy in Japan that had you make a bunch of gummies on a stick. SO weird how the gumminess just magically appears! Here's my review of the candy.

Seeing this vid makes you realize that you are basically eating glue.

Wow, I've never seen this type of candy before! Very cute- and there is so much packaging! Looks more like jello though when it first got plopped out from the mold.

At first I thought this was like a gummi build a burger set, but you had to MAKE the batter. How cool! How long did it take to set?

Mmm, I'd say it took 2 minutes or so. It actually tasted good, too.

Please tell me they didn't taste like octopus, bonito flakes, and takoyaki sauce...
