Las Islas Marias (Los Angeles)
Ceviche ($13.99) is a great way to cleanse the palate after a hearty Thanksgiving feast. You have your lime-cooked seafood tossed with chopped tomatoes and cucumbers. Scoop it up with pieces of tostada, sprinkle over some hot sauce and you're good to go.
A large bowl of campachana ($10.50) is equally refreshing.
And when you're craving more spice, you can sink your teeth into a bowl of seafood, molcajete cora ($20). It's comes with crab legs, shrimp, oysters, clams, abalone and other delicacies of the sea. Oooh yeah~!
And when you're craving something fried, you can get the shrimp empanadas ($7.50).
The great thing about this place is that you feel like you're eating in someone's backyard patio. They even have a mariachi band to keep you company.

Hey Pirikara, it's cuz Todd's first post here! This def looks good! We had ceviche at one of Suzy's nephew's bday party recently, and yes it was nicely palate cleansing. The shrimp empanadas look good too.
It's all about those molcajetes. I've got a Mexican friend who's gonna pick one up for me the next time he's in Mexico.

Hi Tony, It was a tad spicy, but at the right amount. I was sniffling and smiling the whole time.
