Urth Caffe @ Beverly Blvd.

Forget Starbucks. If you're craving tea that teeters between bitter and sweet then sip on Urth Cafe's "Japanese Blessing" latte. It's a fancy title for matcha powder tea which is used traditionally in tea ceremonies. Usually I can't stand matcha because of its extreme bitterness, but this is a far milder version.

I was happy that they were able to substitute milk with soy. They even shape the foamy top into a cute little design. (^_^)

Is there an option to have that green tea w/o milk or soy? like regular Japanese style macha??

I'm sure you can make a special request, but it might not be all that tasty since they wouldn't have a recipe to go by.

Naw, I didn't see any. I actually went there twice this week. Just a lot of wannabes if at all.
